This is our 2 buckle chink converted into a chink-style farrier chap, Made from start to finish in the USA:

• 2 buckle and strap thigh closure, adjustable plus or minus 2 inches
• 32 inch total length with 6 inch fringe
• 4.5-6 ounce leather
• variety of earthtone colored leathers
• laced on adjustible backbelt

The leg patches and hood knife pockests will be 5 ounce pearl apron split unless otherwise requested.  Other available colors of split leather include, black, chocolate, rust, sand, and we can also add the patches in the same leather color as the chink leg in either smoothout leather or rough side out.  You will need to request any change when ordering.

Please see the measuring instructions in the photos above.  You need to select your farrier chink size by using the upper thigh measurement, if your measured hip size doesn't fit the hip size range of your selected chap size, you can add an additional backbelt during the order process to fit your particular hip measurement.

The chink in the photo is a medium brown oil-tan.  This same leather may not be available at the time of your order.  All chinks are made with earthtone leathers and will vary in leather characteristics.  You may inform us of the characteristics that you would prefer and we will accommodate as closely as possible.
